The Kingston RC Club is a club of RC enthusiasts at the Kingston Jr/Sr High School. The club started October 2021 with one mentor and over 40 students. Over the year, we've gained mentors and new students have joined. In May, 2022, the club competed in the Mini-IVD competition at Kettering University.

With our second year already going, the club has hosted a race and plan to host more throughout the school year.

We have a large variety of vehicles we work with, such as 4WD Traxxas Slash, Losi Mini-T & Mini-B, LC Racing vehicles, and we also have 10 WLToys 1/28 scale vehicles we maintain and host races on our indoor foam track. We supply the vehicle, the driver supplies the talent. The 1/28 scale races are held during school's sporting events as a fund raiser for the club.

The club also has one RC plane and one RC drone. About 10 members have completed the FAA requirements and we hope to partner with a local flying club to gain experience.

As with any organization, finances are our biggest limitation. We host races to help pay for our equipment and vehicles.

We gladly accept contributions from racers, like you! Feel free to contact the club's advisor, Mr John Herman @ jherman@kingstonk12.org.

And watch our website for upcoming races. We hope to see you at one (or more)!
