Quick Start Guide

Before you start making your first Track layout you would probably need to get familiar with some information about the facility where you are going to put your track on. It's good to know basic dimensions such as available width and length of a platform, conceived track line width and a material from which you are going to build your track from (i.e. clay, astroturf, carpet, asphalt). You can set those parameters like show below

Typically you start of with drawing a track line around control points. Control points (or corner markers, displayed in pink color) are meant to be placed in a certain cell of a so-called layout grid. This grid gives you an impression of how corners of the track layout can be allocated.

After you have thrown some corners on to the grid you can smooth out some sharp edges by curving layout segments and dragging them with control points (displayed in blue color)

For those who's looking for an offroad type of track layout there is a way you can put down some jumps over the given layout. One can click at any point on the track line to create a jump right there or drag an existing one to change its location. Each jumps has three variable attributes: Length, Height and Profile

When you are satisfied with your layout you can make some cool pictures and play with the camera in track preview window
